Ugh

So I'm going to cook one night this week, and it's gonna be pizza so I can use my leftover crust. What's your favorite pizza toppings? Any unusual but yummy combo?

  1. I'm one of those weird-ass pineapple and ham people. I would totally pan-sear the ham a little first, too.

I don't know how that would be with pesto. I...I can't even imagine, but I'm tempted to try it now that I'm thinking about it with my HMMM face on.

umm...hmm...what about cheeseburger pizza? hamburger, bacon, tomato, onions and mushrooms with some cheddar and mozerella cheeses. NOM.

  4. i hate making bacon. hate hate hate hate the smell. :( i think we're just gonna do traditional sausage with olives and red peppers...a frozen supreme pizza if you will...only not frozen.

  6. sausage and olives is good! red peppers sound excellent, too, but shayne is not a huge pepper fan. i just (like, yesterday) read an article on how to roast a red pepper (and how to roast garlic!) and either of those would probably be good on a pizza, too, you think?

i really, really, really need to make some pizza. i just flat can't remember to write "pesto" and "pizza crust" on my shopping list for some reason?

  9. i haven't done it yet, but the instructions i was given were to basically broil it in the oven until it turns black, then peel off the black skin and bam, there's a roasted pepper under there.

  10. yes, that's how i do it. well, mine's a bit more complicated (OF COURSE). cover it in olive oil and roast it, then when it's black in places, put it in a bowl and cover it with saran wrap. when it cools the skin just slips off!
