Salsa, Yo

You're the one that told me about The Pioneer Woman Cooks. So this is partially your fault by association.

I have a craving for restaurant salsa. The good stuff. I refuse to eat salsa from a jar (Shayne: "Because you're a snob." Me: "But snobs are better!"*). So I went looking for a good recipe, and I found this:

The Pioneer Woman's Restaurant Style Salsa

Oh, my sweet Lord. My mouth is actually watering right now (the Pico de Gallo also looks fantastic!) And do you know what? I don't have any of those ingredients in my house. Oh, wait...I probably have an onion, and I think I have a can of Rotel somewhere, but it's likely got an expiration date of 2007. The point being, I can't go home and make this. I will not have time to shop. I am packing up and heading in your direction this weekend, so it will not be a weekend project. No salsa for me until next week. NEXT WHOLE WEEK.

But I'm going to do it. The only question is...what is the best kind of chip? I'm not a huge Tostitos fan, to be honest. Too salty and too thick. Any suggestions?

*We are mostly kidding each other. Mostly.
